Desolate Horizon
This piece was done using pen on illustration board. I used a clean approach on this piece by using clean, clear lines and some that were broken/dashed. My main inspiration was from album covers as well as Lovecraftian horror. I added both vertical (on the mountains) and horizontal (the sky) lines to give some contrast.

Artist Statement
I am currently and an animation student at SLCC. I enjoy doing pen/ink artwork since it's a medium I am proficient at. I also enjoy doing painting as well as digital artwork. I try to develop eye catching pieces by creating textures, shading and contrast using pen.
