The medium used for this piece was pen on illustration board. I mainly used stippling to shade the shadows but I've also used hatching and scumbling. The piece was mostly inspired by surreal/horror artwork.

Artist Statement
I am currently and an animation student at SLCC. I enjoy doing pen/ink artwork since it's a medium I am proficient at. I also enjoy doing painting as well as digital artwork. I try to develop eye catching pieces by creating textures, shading and contrast using pen.
