This is the Zine project that I created for Advanced Typography & Layout. It details a kind of discrimination that I have personally experienced - namely, the reaction I typically get when people find out that I practice Taekwon-Do. This booklet is designed with panels that fold out in various directions, guiding the reader through my story. It also includes a shadow box, with an actual Taekwon-Do medal inside. The overall design theme is done with antique type, much of which I altered myself in Illustrator. I also did all of the printing and assembly myself.
