The bond that two people create when in love, is supposed to be one of the most powerful connections this world has to offer. This piece fired with black and white low fire glaze, with a gold leaf emphasis seal, represents the unbreakable bond that some people possess in this world. The two forms conjoining together portray the feelings of love, security and feeling wanted.

Artist Statement
As a student and a learner, I want to be capable of recognizing the development I have made over the course of my art education, I have done a great deal of exploring different mediums from drawing and painting, to photography and printmaking, but I plan to attend a University to participate in a Bachelor of Fine Arts program for Ceramics and Sculpture, eventually becoming a teacher in secondary education. I believe time to be extremely valuable, and I can not imagine a better way to spend it other than doing something that is never-ending. There are no restrictions, the ideas and creations are limitless so I am excited for what the future holds to continue this journey of self-exploration, and growth through the world of art.
